These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Armour by Judi website at https://www.armourbyjudi.co.za/ (the “Website”) and any purchase made through the Website.

Throughout these Terms, “Armour by Judi”, “Armour”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the Website. “You” and “your” refer to any person accessing the Website or purchasing products from us.

By accessing the Website, placing an order or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, which form part of these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable South African law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”).

Armour by Judi is an online jewellery retailer offering jewellery and related products through our Website.

Our jewellery is designed to be effortless, versatile and suitable for everyday wear. Product descriptions, materials, care information and other relevant details are provided on the applicable product pages.

Our Website is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform through which we offer our products for sale.

2. Eligibility and Use of the Website

By using this Website, you confirm that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law; and

  • the information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

  • product dimensions and measurements are provided as a guide and may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances.

Where a product's materials, dimensions, finishes or care requirements are important to your purchase decision, please review the relevant product information before placing your order.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

4. Pricing

All prices displayed on the Website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Prices are subject to change, but any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us except where permitted or required by law.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices are displayed correctly. If a material pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, cancel an affected order in accordance with applicable law.

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed during the checkout process and/or described in our Shipping Policy.

5. Placing an Order

When you place an order through the Website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted by us. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where:

  • a product is unavailable;

  • there is an obvious pricing or product description error;

  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity;

  • the order appears to have been placed for unlawful purposes; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid in accordance with applicable law.

6. Payment

Payment must be successfully completed through the payment methods made available at checkout before an order can be processed.

You agree to provide accurate and complete billing and contact information.

We do not directly store your complete payment card details where payment processing is handled by an authorised third-party payment provider. Payment information may be processed by Shopify and/or the relevant payment service provider in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We currently offer delivery in accordance with the terms set out in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, public holidays, strikes, service disruptions or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.

Once your order has been handed to the relevant delivery provider, delivery is subject to the provider's network and operating conditions.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and contact details.

8. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Our returns and refund procedures are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy is intended to remove or limit any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African law.

Certain products may be excluded from voluntary returns where permitted by law and where clearly stated in our Refund Policy.

9. Jewellery Care and Product Use

Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but proper care will help preserve its appearance and finish.

Where a product is described as waterproof, tarnish-resistant or suitable for everyday wear, this does not mean that the product is completely immune to wear, chemical exposure, abrasion or changes in appearance over time.

We recommend following the care instructions provided with your purchase and on the relevant product page.

Exposure to substances such as perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, cleaning chemicals, chlorine or other harsh substances may affect the appearance or finish of jewellery.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage or failure to follow care instructions may not qualify for a return or remedy where the law permits such exclusion.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights relating to defective or unsafe goods.

10. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Armour by Judi may offer promotional discounts, including discount codes and offers made available through our newsletter.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • promotional offers are subject to their stated terms;

  • discount codes must be entered at checkout where applicable;

  • only one promotional code may be used per order;

  • promotional discounts cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • promotional offers may not be combined unless expressly stated;

  • discounts do not apply retrospectively to orders already placed; and

  • we reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where permitted by law.

Specific promotional terms displayed with an offer will take precedence over this section where applicable.
